Holiday Insurance Ireland Holiday Insurance?

Holiday insurance? - holiday insurance ireland

I live in Northern Ireland than the power of the Republic of Ireland, that I am not obliged to complete. If I am on vacation in England, Scotland or Wales, I am not obliged to take insurance.these all countries of the European Union. Why, if I want to spend a holiday in another European Union country, I am obliged to have insurance?. All Travel agents say that I have insurance, this is a legal obligation?. Experts out there?

I think there are some reciprocal agreements between Ireland and the United Kingdom who are still alive for you in Northern Ireland can be improved. For example, the contents of the cover if you lose your content on your trip? The main reason for this is insurance for the physician. Stay in the UK, you are covered for medical treatment on the NHS - which can be completed in Ireland, but I do not know. Outside of the United Kingdom but within the EU is in fact covered only for emergency treatment if your life is threatened. When his life is not threatened, it will pay for medical treatment. There is no legal obligation to obtain insurance. It is only you can decide whether to justify the risk of an event occurring, the complete cost of the purchase.

It is required by law, but common sense. It is better that you have insurance coverage, rather than trying to force their way into foreign bureaucracy, if you suffer an accident or illness abroad. Not that .... expensive and no matter the price, it's worth it for your own peace of mind

No, not required by law, but good advice. Not all EU countries have a national health comparable to those of the United Kingdom and Ireland, and thus the standard therapy can be achieved as a European citizen (by our standards) insurance arm, you would pay for private care. In addition, things like insurance is lost luggage cover, it is not worth it, for little for what?
