Which is better: a nylon lined or flannel lined sleeping bag? - flannel lined cargo
I need a sleeping bag for summer camping trips again. Mine is worn. I have not bought a new in a long time. My sleeping bag is a DC, 40 degrees, lined with flannel. I would something like that. But I think a lot of nylon-lined sleeping bags. Therefore, I ask myself what is best for summer camp lined, nylon or lined with flannel sleeping bag. Any contribution is greatly appreciated!

When a summer camp that I will only go to Wal-Mart to buy cheaper and. The previous poster was correct, the flannel is warm in summer, but the nylon is so sticky sweat (which I do not) support. I have a sleeping bag rated to -40 nylon and summer use. Then and only then unzip the side door and put it where it still causes some breathing room it will be good. If you want to keep the nylon miserably cold, warm at first bc of your body art needs to be warm, and it gets cold. :)
All bags for moisture trapped in the interior, flannel-lined pockets wick away moisture better and better feeling of comfort on the skin. A draw back to the flannel, which is difficult and backpacking where weight is important that this is not my first choice. To unlock just wear a shirt to bed. However, if you put your vehicle in the camp, and can choose what they want, it's always my first choice, summer or winter flannels, you can calm down and remember that nature absorbs flannel. If you only mean to get out of the bag is more convenient to put it on the nylon-trailer.
Another possibility is that as nylon brushed flannel breathe better alow moisture to escape and feel rather than on the basis of the material. and night in the cold, wet, this is a better alternative
My recommendation is to go with the flannel or brushed nylon lining
The flannel is very hot, as it in its body temperature. If you are camping in a place on the night in the summer is cold, then I would choose flannel. If in the night, nylon warm, and probably better. If you camp during the entire year, you probably need to invest in the flannel, because it's cold in autumn and winter, and is a waste of money to buy two separate sleeping bags.

Participation in the two types of coating, I would be with the flannel. only because, like a poster said other moisture / sweat in the warmer months. and is ideal for 4 season use (my husband and I go camping, snow) and warm flannel is a welcome feeling, much more than cold nylon taffeta lining, most sleeping bags.
BTW, you can pick cabelas.com flannel-lined sleeping bags a pretty decent price depending on the search for what you are!
I prefer flannel lining. The nylon is the first time in nylon react to the smell of the body cool and can have a significant funky smell. The best option is to sew a flannel shirt. Sew the bottom closed and one hand. The air can be removed and may be easier to wash the entire bag. I have a nylon bag weight summer wear flannel and fold inward. It is more convenient for me, even in summer.
I agree with other posters. Flannel is ideal for the autumn / winter camping. I have a flannel-lined purse, but also visited the camp in January for what they need. It also depends on where you are camping. If you tend to be very hot, because then I would go with flannel. Although it is better for you to sleep a little chilly at night, then go with the nylon bag.
We were lined with flannel for years. We have a cotton cloth and fold it in half and line their pockets this summer. When it is hot, we opened the bag and cover it with paper. "The heat is used to create a ceiling as to give the blade through the cold.
For flannel.
Go with the flannel, nylon can be very annoying when they make these funky sounds when rubbed. Besides, if you are camping during the downturn will be much better with flannel, at any time to heat and cold!
